The Sandbox is building a decentralized metaverse, empowering creators and players to come together and build the world they’ve always wanted. It is our mission to build an inclusive and open metaverse. Building the bridge between blockchain, social experiences, and gaming. Creating long-lasting relationships through the power of community, creativity, and NFTs.

The LAND team is at the core of our ecosystem, releasing the tokens allowing gaming studios and independent developers to release their own worlds and game experiences. In charge of releasing new tokens, but also maintaining the value and utility of the current environment, the LAND team is at the crossroad between Product, Marketing and Business.

What you`ll be doing:

As part of the LAND team, you will be working closely with the LAND Ecosystem Director in order to:

  • Assist on scheduling and planning for the upcoming LAND Sales (timeline, partners, themes…),
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand current trends, identify potential opportunities, and assess the competitive landscape.
  • Create pitch documents in order to target new partners,
  • Define your Business Development strategy in order to cover new territories and targets,
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure that business dealings comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Sign deals with new partners to add them into our ecosystem,
  • Be in touch with partners and coordinate the launch of their LAND into The Sandbox ecosystem,
  • Regularly report on business development activities and monitor performance against targets.

Requirements

What are we looking for

We are looking for an ambitious profile with the following background:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Prior experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within the entertainment industry or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the entertainment industry, including trends, key players, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective networking and relationship building.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, always looking for new opportunities and ways to grow the business.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and French

You might also have

  • Understanding of Gaming and Digital Worlds: Given that The Sandbox is a gaming and digital world platform, a candidate with a background or strong interest in gaming, virtual worlds, and digital experiences would be beneficial.

Adaptability and Learning Agility: The metaverse and blockchain spaces are rapidly evolving. A candidate who is adaptable and can quickly learn and integrate new information and technologies would be a strong fit.
