About the Role:

Tapstitch is looking for our first Customer Success & Sales Lead to head up our key account strategy and own a critical slice of our customer and sales experience.

This is a high-impact, high-ownership role working directly with Tapstitch's founders. You'll be instrumental in shaping how we onboard, activate, and grow our customer base, starting with qualified inbound leads, then expanding into outbound growth and eventually building a team around you.

Key Responsibilities:

As our first Customer Success & Sales Lead, you'll:

  • Drive the onboarding experience for top-tier clients, helping them maximise value from Tapstitch
  • Build and scale our customer success infrastructure - supporting on everything from CRM and email flows to operational processes and playbooks
  • Work inbound qualified leads (from our enterprise page and sales funnel) and close deals with fashion brands and influencers
  • Take full ownership of outbound growth strategy, including testing channels like cold outreach, events, and partnerships - whatever it takes to win top customers
  • Collaborate closely with our global success team to ensure long-term client success and seamless account transitions
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, helping to guide product development in line with the needs of key accounts.
  • Travel internationally to meet clients
  • Over time, build and lead the Customer Success and Sales team in the U.S

This role is ideal for someone excited by both strategy and execution - someone who loves the thrill of early-stage ownership and is looking for a steep growth curve.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in customer success, sales, account management, consulting, or startup operations
  • Excellent communicator with a proven ability to build trust with founders, brands, and creative teams
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution skills - you love building things from scratch
  • Sales-proven: You have a proven sales record and are excited to do whatever it takes to land new clients
  • Entrepreneurial, mission-driven, and comfortable in a high-autonomy, fast-paced environment
  • Experience with CRM systems and customer engagement tools
  • Early-stage company experience, especially with consumer brands, fashion, or tech is a plus
  • Mandarin speakers a plus
