Pair is seeking a Sr. Licensing Textile (CAD) Designer to help lead design and execution of Pair’s top frame product lines, Licensing. Reporting to our Sr Manager of Top Frame Product Design. You will lead, go through assets, design, create colorways and files to send to production on our new top frame development for our Licensing segment.

What You’ll Do:
- Create strong relationships with our Licensors and lead communication with our partnerships.
- Conduct thorough research to understand the brand before beginning the design process.
- Create a collection that tells a story that fits both Pair and the brand's identity through collection concepts, roadmaps, mood boards, and color palettes.
- Lead Creative Kick Off Calls for each Licensor to make sure we have all the needs required from Licensor
- Concept and create innovative artwork designs for top-frames; considering the target audience, market trends, customer brand demographic, and brief.
- Translate design concepts into production-ready artwork files, ensuring accuracy, proper scaling, layout, and colorways.
- Maintain organized design files and archives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and marketing, to understand design requirements and deliver quality designs.
- Assist in preparing, modifying, and creating production & marketing assets.
- Create presentation deck(s) that tells the full story of collaboration with story telling and designs for potential and/or existing Licensors.
- Stay up-to-date and knowledgeable on all ongoing projects by using Monday & Notion as tools to know what is completed and what is still in flight
- Ensure all steps are completed and approved via portal/email for each licensor in timely manner
- Be thorough and detailed when reviewing grading.
- Constantly explore potential partnerships and evaluate how they could align with Pair
Who You Are:
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Positive team player who enjoys working collaboratively to execute cross-functional strategies.
- Loves creating one-of-a-kind artwork and has experience working in print & pattern, and illustration.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional time management skills.
Need to Have:
- At least 3+ years of Licensing experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Design/Graphic Design or related Design/Retail field.
- 6+ years of print and pattern/graphic design experience in retail.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of design work, showcasing creativity, technical skills, and understanding of market trends.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software, specifically Adobe Creative Suite. (Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and articulate design concepts effectively and clearly.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong eye for color and colorways with the ability to match colors accurately.
- Complete knowledge of creating repeats and placed artwork.
- Strength in hand illustration and creating conversational designs.
Nice to Have:
- Versatile experience in Children’s, Women’s, and Men’s design.
- Accessories experience
- Experience in the Eyewear Industry.

At Pair, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The pay range for this position is expected to be between $104,000 - $116,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
