Brief summary of role:

We are seeking an ambitious and skilled Deal Desk Analyst II who will play a crucial role in the sales process by providing strategic and analytical support to our sales team. In this position, you will work closely with our sales team, to keep them free to do what they do best - sales. The Deal Desk supports Sales working with Sales Operations, Product Management, Legal, and Finance leadership to deliver analytical solutions and pricing models to meet business objectives

What you will be doing:

  • Serves as trusted advisor to the Sales team on deal structure, contracting options, pricing, margin analysis and approval processes.
  • Acts as the first point of escalation and approval on complex deal questions and non-standard requests.
  • Manage escalations on ticket inquiries with Revenue Recognition, Commissions, Legal and Collections for all sales, billing and provisioning related issues
  • Help evaluate non-standard contract terms and identify relevant accounting, billing, and operational impacts.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Sales Operations, Order Management, Accounting, FP&A and Legal on non-standard deals to ensure all stakeholders are aligned.
  • Assist Management with monthly reporting, including deal metrics, deal success and other KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Develop and/or contribute to process improvement and control governance

What we are looking for:

  • 2+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Accounting or FP&A Analysis
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, other related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in a SaaS software industry

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Proficiency in G-Sheets & Microsoft Excel
  • Extremely detail oriented, comfortable reviewing simple contracts
  • Proficiency with Salesforce & Salesforce CPQ
  • This role requires the ability to travel. The average travel requirements of this role are 5%.

Base Salary:

The “Base Salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position across all US locations including but not limited to CA, CO, NY, WA, NV, MD, CT and RI. The determination of this anticipated Base Salary involves the consideration of many factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: location of candidate, unique skill sets, experience, training, performance, licensure and certifications, as well as other business and organizational needs. Our anticipated Base Salary determination is just one component of OpenSpace’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes equity awards, 401k match, as well as other region-specific health and wellness benefits.
