About the Role
The LendingClub Sr Third Party & Regulatory Exams Manager is a bright, resourceful, quick learner who can manage and prioritize an evolving workload in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. This person will play a key role in helping LendingClub by coordinating examinations conducted by third parties, including but not limited to regulatory examiners and platform investors. In addition, this person will work closely with the VP of Regulatory Relations to manage and administer various activities related to LendingClub’s on-going Public Policy initiatives. This role will also be responsible for executing and as needed, enhancing established process to provide ongoing assurance to all stakeholders.What You'll Do
- Act as primary contact and company liaison for third party audits, including reviews/exams from regulators, platform investors, facility providers, and issuing banks
- Build, develop and maintain strong business relationships with business, technology partners, and third parties
- Think strategically and creatively about how the company can leverage attestation reports and other ongoing assessment activities to test once for multiple uses
- Provide guidance and help rationalize the scope of audits/exams with appropriate stakeholders; manage collection, tracking and resolution of queries, as well as the review of materials requested to ensure completeness and responsiveness of submissions
- Ensure the timely escalation and resolution of potential issues; and identify areas of risk or opportunities for improvement
- Develop and implement repeatable processes to streamline the information collection and distribution process
- Participate in / manage various public policy initiatives and relationships (e.g., ABA, American FinTech Council, etc.) as needed
About You
- 8+ years of audit, compliance or regulatory exam management experience at a bank or financial institution required; bachelor’s degree in a related field; or equivalent work experience
- Advanced communication skills (written and verbal), highly organized and detail-oriented
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships across the enterprise and with outside partners
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to improve, automate and/or streamline processes
- Comfortable with a “hands-on” approach and balancing multiple, competing priorities in an ever-changing environment; must feel comfortable holding stakeholders accountable for meeting deadlines
- Must be a self-starter and comfortable working independently
- Experience leveraging Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) tools, a plus
- Proficient knowledge and experience in Project management
Work Location
San Francisco, Lehi, or New York
We are currently working a hybrid schedule and our teams are in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Travel Requirements
As needed travel to San Francisco/Boston/Lehi/New York.

Compensation
The target base salary range for this position is 101,000-159,000. The position is also eligible to receive a bonus (which is based on company performance, employee performance and eligible earnings), equity, and benefits. Our salary ranges, other compensation and benefits offered are determined by role, experience level and location.
