About the Role

The Standard Setting Office (SSO) of LendingClub Bank’s Enterprise Compliance Office (ECO) supports policies and procedures, training, and testing across ECO functions (including Quality Assurance (QA) and Compliance Testing of enterprise processes). The SSO is seeking an experienced compliance professional to support its efforts.

We are looking to hire a Quality and Policy Senior Manager to support the Bank’s ECO program. In this key role, you will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of ECO policies and procedures, as well as managing additional efforts surrounding training and testing and monitoring. This position will report to the Sr Director, FCC Quality and Policy.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, revise, socialize, maintain, and publish ECO policies and procedures as necessary
  • Support investigative unit(s) and compliance SMEs by providing and advising on quality standards
  • Develop and maintain training programs for ECO employees
  • Monitor and assist with the development of risk appetite metrics and other key risk and performance indicators specific to the ECO functions
  • Compile and provide regular reporting to ECO leadership of Compliance Testing and QA testing results, trends, and risks
  • Collaborate with ECO team members in initiatives to strengthen, develop, and support policies and procedures related to ECO or BSA/AML and sanctions compliance activities
  • Provide support for other ECO related initiatives and activities as needed, including internal and external audits or regulatory exams, training and strategic projects
  • Provide leadership support for QA and Compliance Testing teams

About You

  • 6+ years of regulatory compliance or BSA/AML and sanctions experience, including experience in a quality control (QC), QA, or internal audit capacity with a regulated financial institution
  • Extensive knowledge of regulatory compliance regulations and/or BSA/AML laws and regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as presentation skills with strong interpersonal skills to successfully influence strategic initiatives at all organizational levels
  • Passion for driving change, with an ability to navigate multiple high and sometimes competing priorities
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance regulations, financial crimes compliance, testing and monitoring (including transaction monitoring), and/or BSA/AML processes, including Know Your Customer (KYC), is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or equivalent work experience

We are currently working a hybrid schedule and our teams are in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Compensation
The target base salary range for this position is 102,000-150,000. The position is also eligible to receive a bonus (which is based on company performance, employee performance and eligible earnings), equity, and benefits. Our salary ranges, other compensation and benefits offered are determined by role, experience level and location.
