About the Role

LendingClub is looking to hire a Director, Revolving Bank Core Platform to lead the critical core platforms team responsible for our company core platform. As a Director, Core Platform at LendingClub, you will be responsible for managing projects, technology, the providers of the core platform and a team of developers / analysts and testers. This role requires a leadership-based managerial style and strong knowledge in Revolving lending including Cards. We develop in an agile environment that values a team-player approach and clings tightly to the conviction that speed is an essential feature.

What You'll Do

  • Help define and drive our Revolving platform implementations
  • Contribute to our platform strategy and socialize with key partners
  • Work closely with product management to deliver against platform goals as well as project commitments
  • Drive planning, environment vision and build out, performance management and tuning, new SW evaluation, etc.
  • Work with cross functional teams to ensure solutions align with corporate standards
  • Stay current with banking (deposits, loans and cards) industry, advancements and initiatives

About You

  • 10+ years of software development and software architecture in a bank
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a computer related field; or relevant work experience
  • You have experience in managing relationship with turnkey solution providers in the banking industry
  • You have had significant leadership experience in engineering solutions, with current understanding of stack and common projects
  • You have a high bar for operational excellence; ability to quickly lead team through issues resolution, root cause analysis and successfully prioritize corrective action
  • You love to be surrounded by talented and friendly people who enjoy coming to work every day

Travel Requirements

As needed travel to Boston or provider sites (4 to 6 times a year)

Compensation

The target base salary range for this position is 195,000-245,000. The position is also eligible to receive a bonus (which is based on company performance, employee performance and eligible earnings), equity, and benefits. Our salary ranges, other compensation and benefits offered are determined by role, experience level and location.
