Kashable is located in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.
Office expectation: In-person attendance is required 3–4 times a week to collaborate effectively with the team.
Your Mission
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst who will focus on new technology implementation as well as the critical tasks of requirements gathering and documentation to support our strong operational growth. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Engineering and Operations teams under the guidance of the VP of Operations to ensure all project requirements are clearly defined and documented. You will also work with directors across multiple departments to analyze business needs and facilitate clear, cross-functional communication.
This position plays a key role in supporting current technologies and driving the adoption of Business Process Management (BPM), Business Intelligence (BI), workflow automation and AI integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with department heads to understand workflow gaps and help design solutions that improve efficiency and data visibility.
- Partner with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure smooth implementation of new technologies, including AI-driven tools and workflow automation.
- Use low-code/no-code platforms to automate workflows and enhance business processes.
- Support agile practices, including writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and identifying key dependencies and risks.
- Work with external vendors to evaluate product offerings, assess potential benefits, and help plan and execute implementation strategies.
- Develop, refine, and maintain documentation for processes, systems, and implementation plans.
- Act as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication of requirements.
- Triage and prioritize tickets, seeking clarification from functional teams as needed.
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to increase operational efficiency.
Recipe for Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in fintech, software development, IT consulting, or a related industry.
- Proficiency in using requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and familiarity with software implementation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Solid understanding of cross-functional dependencies and their impact on business performance.
