About This Position

The Operations team is the driving force delivering an unparalleled customer experience at Firstbase. Our clients are asking us to solve the most difficult challenges behind supporting remote work and our Operations team is the group that tackles the current supply chain issues. This team breaks through barriers and works to deliver the best customer experience possible because that is what our customers require.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Contract Operations Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the forecasting, reporting, and analysis functions of our physical operations, including procurement, warehousing, exports, and IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) services. You will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting data to maintain and improve operational models, provide valuable insights, and help guide leadership in making informed decisions.

Essential Functions

  1. Forecast Model Maintenance:

    • Maintain and refine monthly forecast models by extracting and analyzing data from order and inventory management systems.

    • Update model assumptions based on new data to ensure accurate forecasting.

  2. COGS Forecasting / P&L Reports:

    • Manage monthly Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) forecasts by analyzing cost data from supplier invoices and procurement expense reports.

    • Ensure forecast accuracy by continuously refining cost assumptions.

    • Produce and maintain reports that support the Profit & Loss (P&L) management of all Physical Operations, including procurement, warehousing, exports, and ITAD services.

  3. Transaction Reporting for Billing:

    • Provide detailed reporting on a per-transaction basis to assist finance teams in generating monthly invoices for exports, ITAD, bulk shipments, miscellaneous warehouse services, and penalties.

  4. Sales Forecast Integration:

    • Maintain a 90-day sales forecast, supplementing the main forecast model to monitor significant changes in sales trends by country.

  5. Operational Capacity Modeling:

    • Maintain and refine operational capacity models based on daily output assumptions and warehouse space usage to help us make efficient and on-time decisions to scale operations.

  6. Operational Performance Analysis:

    • Monitor and analyze operational performance data.

    • Support Operations leadership by identifying process gaps and areas for improvement in the supply chain.

  7. Market Research:

    • Conduct market research to assist leadership in evaluating the cost-benefit of new initiatives and operational opportunities.

  8. Customer Gap Reporting:

    • Generate reports on customer gap data from Salesforce to help prioritize future roadmap planning.

  9. Project Management:

    • Support operations management to track project milestones and update project tasks in Notion. Manage weekly reporting on progress and upcoming deliverables and deadlines.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field.

  • Proven experience in data analysis, forecasting, and reporting within operations or supply chain environments.

  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheet skills. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) or similar platforms are a plus, but not required.

  • Strong understanding of COGS and P&L reporting.

  • Proficiency in order and inventory management systems, and experience working with procurement and supplier data.

  • Ability to manage multiple data sources and synthesize information into actionable insights.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively support operations leadership with clear and concise reports and analysis.

  • Operate with a sense of urgency when needed
