- Demonstrate understanding of ASC 740 and ability to prepare book to tax adjustments, tax calculations, memos and disclosures
- Supporting the federal and state income tax return process by performing supporting tax calculations and gathering relevant data
- Calculating and preparing quarterly estimated tax payments and vouchers for both federal and states
- Participate in month-end close process by preparing relevant tax journal entries and tax accounts reconciliations
- Conduct federal and state tax research and draft tax technical memorandums to support tax return filing positions and special projects as required
- Proactively identifying and implementing process improvements that promote efficiency and accuracy
- 2-4 years of progressive corporate tax experience in public accounting
- Working knowledge of tax accounting principles in a public company setting
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
- CPA license preferred
- Advanced Excel skills is required
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, allowing you to adapt and formulate solutions quickly
- Skilled communicator with great interpersonal skills and, ability to build and manage relationships
- Meticulous attention to detail, highly organized
- Ability to multi-task and handle several deadlines simultaneously
Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location. Minimum wage for the position will always be met.
