As the Regional Vice President you will best attract, retain, oversee and guide the entire sales management org of your region, while fostering an exceptional company culture. The RVP will act as the primary conduit between the executive team, Regional Leadership, and sales management leadership by focusing on implementing various sales-related initiatives and policies in alignment with the company’s vision and values. The RVP will be primarily responsible for leading the entire agent population in their region, motivating, coaching and mentoring Sales Managers, as well as providing strategic and operational guidance to the Company’s executive team.
This role covers the State of Texas, and the candidate must reside in Austin, Houston, or Dallas Ft. Worth. Note that this is a fully onsite role.
At Compass You Will:
- Oversees health of the regional customer base; ultimately accountable for agent retention, profitability and culture
- Acts as a subject matter expert and voice of the customer for their region by deeply understanding agent and market performance, competitive landscape and regional nuances (MLS’, compliance processes, etc.); uses those to inform for financial, business and tech targets
- Responsible for hiring, managing and empowering a team of Managing Directors across multiple cities to achieve OCRs and other business goals, while keeping an eye toward overall career growth and happiness across the team
- Partners with DOO to ensure the region has the right machine and points of accountability to operationalize and deliver on programs and initiatives
- Acts as a vocal advocate for the region and voice of the customer who send signals up to leadership
- Acts as the point of escalation for founding agents and top 10% of customers
- Advises President of the Region by surfacing feedback, informing communications, proactively reporting on progress and acting as a voice for customers and employees
- Partners and collaborates cross functionally with key stakeholders across organization

Who you are:
- Deeply experienced real estate leader who deeply understands the agent and sales manager experience and can work alongside the President to ensure all decisions are made in service of agents
- Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills, including the ability to resolve disputes and observe confidentiality
- Past experience in managing direct reports and leading high performing teams
- Possesses top-notch stakeholder management, leadership skills and ability to drive cross-functional alignment and results
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and acute attention to detail, allowing you to think big and act quickly
- Excels in navigating a highly collaborative and matrixed environment
- Can thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred
- Personal Sales Experience as a Realtor with 10+ years of being licensed, Brokers license preferred; validly licensed in applicable state(s) at all times of service
- At least 10+ years leading Real Estate Sales Managers
- Managed at least 200+ agents or $75M in GCI
Must obtain the state license requirements for any jurisdiction in which they are operating (e.g., Broker’s level)
