The Role You’ll Play
- Partner with Product, Design, and QA to bring features to life from ideation through deployment, always iterating with the end-user in mind.
- Design and develop backend services and APIs that are robust, maintainable, and user-friendly.
- Champion engineering excellence through practices like automated testing, thoughtful code reviews, and effective monitoring.
- Push for simplicity and eliminate unnecessary complexity, all while delivering reliable, high-quality software that delights users.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and help shape how microservices interact across a growing, service-oriented ecosystem.
- Lead with curiosity—seeking feedback, learning from diverse perspectives, and mentoring others along the way.
- Be a driving force for positive change, culture, and collaboration on a team that values autonomy and impact.
Experience You Bring
- Senior-level experience developing backend systems for large-scale SaaS platforms.
- Proficiency in object-oriented languages such as Java, Kotlin, C#, and comfort working in a mixed stack.
- Experience architecting and designing backend services in a microservices environment.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic or Kibana, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating system risks.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), design patterns, and Agile methodologies.
- Skilled in SQL and relational databases, with a clear eye on performance and maintainability.
- Strong communicator who collaborates well across roles and backgrounds.
- Passion for delivering meaningful solutions, learning constantly, and helping others grow.
