The Role You’ll Play:

• Monitor merchant accounts to detect risky behavior and act quickly to prevent fraud or loss
• Investigate flagged accounts, connect with merchants, and provide smart, personalized solutions
• Evaluate businesses through credit and risk analysis to support confident decision-making
• Analyze complex data from multiple sources to uncover trends and fraud patterns
• Support our clients with chargeback strategies and fraud prevention best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance fraud monitoring systems and tools
• Partner with internal teams on risk-related inquiries and account underwriting
• Own your schedule and priorities while delivering accurate, high-impact insights
• MUST be able to work 7am-4pm PST (11am-8pm BRT)

Experience You Bring:

• 2+ years of experience in payments risk and customer support or a similar function
• Skilled at navigating high-stakes situations with calm, clarity, and professionalism
• Known for your attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects without missing a beat
• Strong analytical instincts—you connect the dots quickly, even with limited data
• Clear, adaptive communicator with strong writing skills across technical and client-facing formats
• High customer empathy with a proactive mindset to improve outcomes and processes
• Comfortable with ambiguity and always looking to learn, grow, and raise the bar
• Experience underwriting accounts or working with financial documentation is a plus
