About You

As a Solutions Architect - Microsoft at AppDirect, you collaborate with the AppDirect sales team, potential customers and their Advisors. Your role as a technical expert involves conducting scoping calls and delving into customers' needs for Microsoft solutions (M365, Intune, Active Directory, Azure). Crafting solutions, estimating time and cost, and creating detailed Statements of Work (SOW) are integral aspects of your responsibilities. This documentation, including recurring monthly costs for customer consideration, is delivered to stakeholders. As a key member of the Professional Services team, you work closely with the Project Manager and deployment team to ensure seamless execution of solutions.

What you'll do and how you'll have an impact

• The Solutions Architect - Microsoft is responsible for coordinating and supporting Microsoft (M365, Intune, Active Directory) professional services sales opportunities;
• Provide pre-sales support to sales reps and customers on solutions and licensing;
• Run solution discovery calls with prospective customers and their Advisors;
• Prepare detailed SOW’s to be reviewed with the Professional Services team, Sales team, Advisors and Customers;
• Deliver solution roadmaps, estimates, and licensing content to customers;
• Engage with sales teams to sell jointly into sales territories and customer accounts.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 5 years of pre-sales professional services experience;
• A deep understanding of Microsoft products and services (M365, Intune, Active Directory);
• A good knowledge of Microsoft IaaS (Azure) is a plus;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Excellent time management and organizational skills;
• Excellent customer-facing presentation skills;
• Experience solving complex customers problems through analysis;
• Ability to interact and communicate at the Executive level;
• Experience developing strategy and tactics to meet business objectives.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written;
• Microsoft 365 certification (Nice to have);
• Microsoft Azure certification (Nice to have);
• Experience developing solutions with AWS or GCP (Nice to have);
