About our client

At Outmarket, they are reinventing how brokers, MGAs, and carriers work. Their AI-first platform is powering the future of commercial insurance—automating workflows like policy reviews, quote comparisons, proposal generation, and submission management.

They are hiring Product Managers who deeply understand insurance workflows and want to turn that experience into powerful, intuitive software used by thousands of professionals.

Why This Role Is High-Impact

  • You’ll define the products that directly impact daily workflows for underwriters, producers, and CSRs
  • You’ll partner closely with Vishal (Co-founder & CEO, ex-Uber, Meta, Ethos) and Anshu (Co-founder & CTO, ex-Meta, Ethos, early IBM Watson AI team) and a top-tier team from Meta, Adobe, IBM, and Uber
  • You’ll transform how the industry handles messy processes—from document review to quote generation
  • You’ll work with real users from day one and iterate fast with short feedback loops

What You’ll Do

  • Own the roadmap for core insurance workflows including submission intake, quote comparison, proposal building, and policy review
  • Translate industry knowledge into clean, scalable UX that cuts down manual effort
  • Work with design and engineering to ship features fast and with polish
  • Collaborate with brokers, MGAs, and carriers to ensure deep product-market fit
  • Partner with AI and data teams to layer intelligence into every step of the workflow
  • Measure adoption, usage, and impact—and iterate based on results

What They’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in insurtech, workflow SaaS, or enterprise software
  • Hands-on knowledge of commercial insurance workflows—retail or wholesale side
  • Strong instincts for UX and an ability to simplify complex processes
  • Clear communicator, fast executor, and strong cross-functional collaborator
  • Comfortable talking to users, understanding real-world pain, and designing solutions

Bonus If You Have

  • Experience with AMS systems like Epic, AMS360, or Sagitta
  • Background in submissions, quoting, renewals, or coverage review
  • Exposure to LLMs or automation-driven workflow tools

What You’ll Get

  • Real ownership of products that insurance teams rely on daily
  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity
  • Direct access to users and influence on roadmap decisions
  • A builder’s culture: low ego, fast execution, and zero politics
  • Remote-first setup with a globally distributed, high-performing team
  • Salary: $160k - $180k + performance
  • Benefits: Great gear, equity plan, team retreat, modern tools, flex schedule, unlimited PTO and growth budget
