Our client, Ad Hoc Labs, creator of Burner, is a leader in consumer mobile subscription products, with a growing and profitable business offering consumer virtual phone numbers. Their mission is to empower customers with control over their privacy, communications, and identity.
They're seeking a Director of Product Management to drive execution and lead their Product and Design teams.
What You'll Do:
- Drive product strategy and execution, balancing growth initiatives with long-term business goals
- Ship products at a high velocity, with high impact
- Optimize product development processes for efficiency and quality
- Evaluate and prioritize large-scale initiatives; follow through tenaciously on executing them from large to small
- Develop strategies to increase subscriber value through new features, user experience improvements, and growth efforts
- Partner with Engineering to enhance product architecture and performance
- Work closely with Marketing to drive growth and increase value for customers across all stages of the customer acquisition funnel and life cycle
- Align product goals with business objectives and user experience to drive revenue growth
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in product management
- Proven track record of owning and shipping successful products, especially consumer mobile subscription-based models
- Experience increasing revenue through strategic feature additions
- Strong analytical skills combined with product intuition
- Experience “doing what it takes” to ship impactful products at high velocity
- Technical aptitude balanced with EQ to lead cross-functional teams effectively
- Strategic thinking with clear understanding of market dynamics
- Background in privacy or communications is a plus

- Combine data, strategic understanding, product instincts, and technical insight to make high-confidence decisions in an ambiguous environment
- Collaborate effectively with technical, business, marketing, and operational teams to lead cross-functional initiatives across the finish line
- Follow market, competitive, and technology trends with passionate interest
- Build effective process, culture, and communications, leading by example and drawing from diverse playbooks as needed
- Take ownership and drive projects to completion, overcoming whatever obstacle get in your path
- Do the right thing, even when it’s extremely challenging
- Care deeply about your teammates, our customers, and the business as a whole and do whatever it takes to drive success for all stakeholders
Your experience includes:
- Directly owning and shipping successful consumer products
- Driving revenue growth within a product
- Implementing strategies to increase user lifetime value
- Leading high-performing product teams
- Possibly founding a startup or working with companies known for effective feature layering
Compensation & Benefits:
- $175,000 - $225,000 / year

Primarily remote, with preference for Pacific or Mountain time zones.
